13,500 sqm of exhibition space, 14 lorries with around 1,000 m3 of materials for furnishing alone and 80 shuttle buses for 3,600 guests: These are the impressive numbers behind which there is the combined competence of the marbet agency and Koelnmesse Ausstellungen. The guests were collected from the nearby hotels and taken directly to the exhibition area by shuttle bus. The buses stopped directly at the boulevard between halls 9 and 10, where a new entrance had been created especially for this event. This allowed the guests to reach the location quickly and without getting their feet wet.
Logistic superlative - Marketing event at the Schwäbisch Hall savings and building assocation
There, further superlatives awaited them: An approximately 500 sqm large screen, larger than those of any cinema, divided the exhibition space, which altogether was almost as big as three football pitches, into two areas: A stage and stands for the marketing event taking place during the day on one side and a larger stage and the catering and get-together area for the subsequent evening event on the other side. After the end of the official section, that which was “behind the screen” had become that “in front of the screen”: With impressive pyrotechnics, the screen disappeared and an elegant atmosphere welcomed the guests just a few metres from the conference location. A relaxed lounge atmosphere on this side of the event area bedazzled the Schwäbisch Hall employees with its purist white furnishings, consciously tasteful decoration and lighting in soft colour nuances. Presenter Nasan Eckes, Cologne band “De Höhner” and singer Sarah Conner provided the right ambiance.
Annual Kick-Off convention
40 chefs from the exhibition company’s in-house caterer Sodexo rounded off the successful end to the marketing event. 7,000 litres of Kölsch beer, 1,200 bottles of wine and 160 service staff took care of the guests’ culinary needs.
