Koelnmesse 3.0 — more than just buildings
In the future, easy access to online networks and the fast and smooth use of digital services will be of critical importance for the success of trade fair participations and the quality of an exhibition centre in the eyes of exhibitors and visitors. Moreover, trade fair participants are increasingly demanding a full range of digital marketing opportunities at the exhibition centre as well. Lastly, the digital permeation of all customer-related processes has become extremely relevant. Examples include access systems, customer relationship management, direct marketing and database management.
As a first step, Koelnmesse and its partner dimedis are setting up a new ticket and access system, including an efficient online shop, primarily for mobile ticket media such as smartphones.
