Digital, modern and customer-oriented - Koelnmesse begins relaunch of websites

With the relaunch of the gamescom and photokina websites, Koelnmesse's Marketing Communication and IT departments are starting the redesign of a total of around 40 online presences of all trade fairs as well as the company's website. Gradually, each website will be given a new design, its content revised and technology updated. "The new Internet presences are an important part of the digital transformation of our company. They enable us to address all target groups in words, pictures and video in a contemporary, emotional and digital manner," explains Gerald Böse, CEO of Koelnmesse GmbH.

For the design and implementation of the new online presences, Koelnmesse uses an online modular system that gives all trade fair websites a uniform structure, but can still reflect the individual character of each event. "We are consistently focusing on the needs of our various target groups and making the information relevant to them optimally accessible," says Jochen Dosch, Head of Marketing Communication at Koelnmesse GmbH.

Through a modern approach appropriate to the respective industry, each respective website will establish itself even more strongly as the central hub of integrated online communication. In addition to information on the fair that has been optimized for the various target groups, the websites offer links to the event's social media channels and access to Koelnmesse's range of services.

In accordance with current user habits, the new websites are responsive, so that the content is always optimally displayed, regardless of the device from which it is accessed. Flexible modules ensure that changed requirements can also be met in the future.
